Maui Trash the Dress
Tuesday, December 20th, 2011Maui Vow Renewals
Monday, November 14th, 2011Romance doesn’t have an age limit. For Jan and John, it’s been an ongoing fact of life for 50 years. Constant visitors to Maui, Jan and John booked our Hawaii Wedding Planning company; Marry Me Maui Wedding Planners to help them make the perfect celebration of 50 years come true. We provided the professional photography services and Dellables made that beautiful tropical bouquet. Pia Aluli not only officiated but he brought his guitar along for a beautiful Hawaiian song and to accompany one of the guests who is a singer in LA.
Vow renewals can be set up quickly and easily utilizing any one of a number of Maui’s gorgeous beaches. When you call our Maui Photographer phone number: 1-800-745-0344, you are also calling our Maui wedding planning company. We can help arrange your Maui vow renewal as a last minute lark or you can call us well ahead of your arrival here. We can keep it secret from your spouse, provide musicians, doves and flowers and find a romantic spot. Jan and John chose Makena Cove for their ceremony. Makena Cove is one of the most memorable places to hold a vow renewal ceremony on Maui. It’s a small, intimate beach, not much bigger than a large backyard. What it lacks in space it more than makes up for in scenic beauty. Mornings are the best time for this venue.
We have found that many couples like to renew their vows on Maui. Whether it’s a 2, 10 or 50 year anniversary, a vow renewal makes a very special gift for the girl who has everything. It’s a great idea if you’re stumped for a gift and it’s very easy to arrange. We can help you with dinner or brunch suggestions and we also partner with travel agents who can get you going with air, hotel and car reservations. We are a one stop shop for all your Maui Photography and event planning needs so let us know how we can help make a special occasion last forever here on Maui.
A Hui Hou!
Maui Wedding Locations
Friday, October 21st, 2011Maui has a pretty fair diversity of churches for your wedding. Old cathedral style Catholic churches in the heart of Lahaina Town or a small lava rock christian church near the ocean in Makena, these places or worship offer an alternative to a beach or resort wedding. All these churches can be rented during the week or on Saturday and many of them have been around for 100 years or more, built during the plantation days of Maui. A rich history and pastors filled with the spirit of Aloha await our wedding couples who desire a more traditional setting for their vows while still enjoying the amenities Maui has to offer. Imagine snorkeling or surfing for a couple of hours in the morning, hitting the hotel room for a quick shower, changing into your wedding outfit and having one of our limo drivers take you to an historic church in Makena where you can exchange vows and begin a beautiful life together. We can help you find these churches as we are also a full service Maui Wedding Planner in addition to being world class Maui wedding photographers.
From Kapalua to Kula, there are dozens of historic friendly congregations who welcome world travelers to have their nuptials. We can formulate an itinerary for you with suggestions on where to eat afterward without having to drive across the whole island.
So if a church wedding is what you’re looking for, Maui is a great spot to fulfill that dream.
Maui Wedding Photography
Friday, September 9th, 2011On a planet of 6 billion it should be extremely difficult to find a secluded pristine tropical beach 3 minutes from a world class resort hotel and have an intimate wedding ceremony. But it isn’t. As a professional photographer in Maui who has photographed thousands of brides over the last 3 decades, we know where to go to get those killer images you want for your wedding day. Belgica and Rob were two of the 6 billion who found out how ridiculously easy it was. We had a very intimate ceremony in June at one of those pristine beaches I mentioned. There was nobody there that day. While we can’t guarantee you’ll have the beach to yourself, we can certainly direct you to the places where it might at least be possible. So if you’re looking for personalized, Maui Wedding Planners or just killer images, contact the professional Maui Wedding Photographers; Joe D’Alessandro Photography Inc., Maui. We’re available for your wedding, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Maui Wedding Photography in Makena
Wednesday, May 18th, 2011We had another stellar day in Makena with Heather and Matt on the rolling green hills above Maui’s stunning south shore. This was obviously a couple who are very much in love. They brought their sunny dispositions along to match the sunny weather and had a great wedding ceremony. We were able to capture some sweet images that Heather and Matt will cherish for a lifetime.
Maui Wedding Photography – Details, Details, Details…
Monday, March 21st, 2011Part of the fun of shooting Maui Weddings is getting to photograph the details: Rings, Cakes, Flowers, etc. There are so many talented professionals living on Maui and creating works of art for their couples that it is a pleasure to be able to photograph their achievements. Our clients like the images also because most of the details are gone after the wedding except for the rings. The photographic representation is all they have left. This is why it’s important to choose a professional photographer to capture the essence of your Maui Wedding. While the details are important, be sure your photographer’s portfolio contains a wide variety of images. These detail shots were taken from several different weddings over the last year, some were beach weddings and others were at private estates. You are only limited by your imagination.
Maui Wedding Planners, Maui Photographers
Tuesday, March 1st, 2011The occasional rainstorm is inevitable even in Maui. While the resort areas only get as much rain as Santa Fe New Mexico, when you work outdoors as much as we do, getting rained on is inevitable. Fortunately it doesn’t happen very often but when it does we have to improvise. Normally we pull out the umbrellas if we’re doing a beach wedding but in Helga and Cecil’s case, their condo had a huge lanai which was large enough for their entire entourage along with Vance, Tarvin and myself. Helga and Cecil never missed a beat and had a great time. We got some great shots and managed to stay dry! Thanks Helga and Cecil for showing such grace under pressure!
Maui Senior Portraits
Wednesday, February 9th, 2011Senior portraits on Maui can be a fun and unique way to express yourself. Instead of static shots in front of a backdrop in a studio, we take you out to a beautiful beach before sunset and create personalized portraits using natural surroundings. We allow time for a few wardrobe changes and you receive a disk of high resolution fully retouched digital images along with full reproduction rights which you can use for all sorts of things like facebook, large prints or anything you can think of. Send us an email to joe@joedalessandro.com to set up your appointment!
Maui Family Portrait Photography
Wednesday, February 2nd, 2011In between Maui wedding and advertising assignments, we have the opportunity to photograph some lucky family that manages to escape the grip of winter and spend a week or two in Maui. Last night, we got to meet Savannah, Jeff and their little daughter Makena. We spent a casual hour on the beautiful beach at Kapalua taking some portraits of them. These images, which include full reproduction rights, will last them a lifetime; a reminder that these are the good old days. Mahalo guys!
Maui Professional Wedding Photographers
Friday, January 21st, 2011It’s official name is Makena Cove although the guidebooks call it Secret Cove. Well, since the guidebooks mention it you know it’s not a secret any longer! We get the most requests for Makena Cove because it turns out to be the best known beach to wedding couples on the island. Which brings us to Pam and Bryan, 2 of the nicest people we’ve had the pleasure of working with. We somehow had the whole beach (about the size of a large backyard) to ourselves. This is not always the case at Makena Cove, sometimes it even disappears if the tides are up and the swell come out of the east, but the gods were with Pam and Bryan who got a beautiful afternoon, some sweet Hawaiian music and some killer images. For information on Makena Cove or any other beautiful Maui beach, please call Joe D’Alessandro Photography 1-800-745-0344. We are also a premier Maui Wedding Coordinator.
