We get to do the occasional local wedding here in Maui and it’s always fun to hook up with one of Maui’s ohana and get some great imagery. Yesterday, we had the pleasure of spending a few hours with Kahikolu and Kimo who married in a small church here in Wailuku and then had a lavish lunch reception at the King Kamehameha golf course (The poke was ono). It was your typical Maui Wedding Day - Warm, bright and breezy. So breezy, that we almost lost a flex fill but one of the guests was kind enough to chase it down the hill. Mahalo! Here’s a couple of images from the event.

Maui Wedding and Commercial Photography
Sunday, August 8th, 2010Maui Weddings
Saturday, June 26th, 2010As wedding photographers in Maui, we have had the privilege to photograph people from all around the world at some of the most pristine beaches on the planet. Occasionally we are blessed with a passing shower but they are generally brief and tend to cool things down. Most people are unaware of how dry Maui really is. Maui Rainfall averages vary from over 300 inches per year at Puu Kukui in the west Maui mountains, to 12 inches per year in the Kihei/Wailea/Makena area. Most of the beaches we use fall in the 12 inch category, so rain is rare. I’m posting a shot of a wedding we did at Kapalua Bay in April, you can see how beautiful the weather was. This representation is the norm rather than the exception.
Maui Wedding Photography, Destination Weddings
Friday, June 11th, 2010A Maui destination wedding is one of the best ways to tie the knot. Maui has a large pool of professional photographers, awesome venues, reliable wedding planners and some of the best catering on earth. We were fortunate to have the chance to photograph Candice and Josh at the Haiku Mill, a rustic and beautiful wedding venue on the north shore of Maui. I’m posting a few shots from the wedding from inside the guest house where brides often get ready, as well as some shots from the outside. We have photographed Maui weddings at every major venue in Maui so if you’re looking for a private venue, call us for the photography, we’re well acquainted with the particulars of every location.
Maui Wedding Planners
Thursday, September 13th, 2007
When planning a destination wedding anywhere it’s best to hire a professional planner. They can help you avoid the locations that might be less than romantic, or even downright dangerous, restaurants that the locals won’t eat at or bouquets which fall apart before the photo session is over. If you’re planning a Maui wedding ceremony, the best choice is Marry Me Maui wedding Planners. The staff at Marry Me Maui can make your Maui wedding a carefree and delightful experience. They have lived on Maui for over 20 years and have the knowledge and experience to steer you in the right direction for your entire wedding day.
